With science constantly evolving, more branches get out of the already existing ones when there is a scope for them. Electronics Instrumentation and Control Engineering is one such branch. The Department of Electronic Instrumentation was started in the year 1998 and offers a 4 year B.E. degree program. The department has a team of well qualified, highly experienced and dedicated faculty members with industrial and research background. Since its inception the department has grown in infrastructure and dissemination of knowledge within and outside the curriculum. In present scenario, the need of Automation / Robotics is becoming necessary in process industries, power stations and automobile sectors etc. So the aim of Instrumentation department is to prepare engineers for Automation industries / Research & Development activities by imparting quality education. The further mission of the department is to prepare students for today’s world by imparting their knowledge through R&D activities so that they can express themselves. This department not only emphasizes on transfer and application of knowledge but also teach the importance of human values by which the students can serve the nation at the best of their capabilities.
