The department of Chemical Engineering was established in the year 2007 with B. Tech course in Chemical Engineering with an intake of 30 students. This was later increased to 60 seats in June 2008. The department provides information in the areas of Heat Transfer, Mass Transfer, Chemical Reaction Engineering, Process Dynamics and Control, Chemical Technology, Process Engineering and Plant Design, Equipment Design, Separation Process, Process Calculations as applied to Chemical Industries etc.
