The department of Telecommunication Engineering was started in the year 1999 Affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Approved by AICTE, New Delhi, Ministry of HRD, Government of India and Recognized by the Government of Karnataka. It is Accredited for a period of 3 years by NBA, AICTE, India. The Department of Telecommunication Engineering aims at providing quality education, both theoretically and practically. Students of Telecommunication Engineering add a value to the department with a dynamic character and active culture towards learning and delivering through assigned projects guided by faculty. The infrastructure facility of the department enables the students and staff to develop a cohesive learning environment, to keep the students with abstract with the latest technological advances. The Telecommunication Engineering is a professional program broad discipline encompassing the subjects relating to Electronics, Telecommunications, VLSI Design, Digital Signal processing, Computer Networking etc. This a program me offers a wide range of Technical and Programming skills set which starts right from second semester of the program to provide vital knowledge of different fields of Telecommunication Engineering.
