Course Details

The candidate shall have secured not less than forty five percent (45%) marks in the aggregate with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with any one of the following subjects, namely, Chemistry, BioTechnology, Computer Science, Biology and Electronics. Provided that, the minimum marks for the purpose of eligibility shall be forty percent (40%) in optional subjects in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and OBC candidates from Karnataka.

Course Description

Department of Information Science and Engineering (ISE) was established in 2001 with an intake of 40 students, was increased to 60 in 2002 and extended to 120 in 2007 . The ISE Department is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi for 3 years and Affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum, Karnataka. The department has well qualified & experienced faculty with M.Tech & Ph.D degrees. Department has well equipped classrooms and computer laboratories with high-end systems. Department has developed strong links with the IT companies and academic bodies in transforming graduate student from campus class room to business ready entry level. Graduates of Information science will possess a solid foundation that allows and encourages them to maintain their skills as the field evolves.
