Department of Information Science and Engineering (ISE) at RVCE was established in the year 2000. The department offers Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) programme through autonomous scheme. The department has a faculty student ratio of 1:13 for UG courses. The areas of specialization in the department are: Wireless Sensor Networks, Big Data Analytics, Image Processing, Software Engineering and Natural Language Processing. Apart from training the students in academics, the department faculty are also involved in supporting funded research and consultancy projects. Industry incubation centre has been set up in the department to train potential entrepreneurs. Regular technical talks and seminars/workshops are being conducted for both faculty and students.
