Our four-year full-time course culminates in a Mumbai University B.E. degree in civil engineering. Our course aims are producing competent Civil Engineers who are not only experts in the field of Civil Engineering but also competent in the other fields that are essential requirements for being a good Civil Engineer, i.e. management, mathematics, physics & economics. The course blends basic science, mathematics & engineering theory with practical visits to construction sites, highway projects, airports and dams. Apart from academics, the course imparts students with the skills so they can excel in business acumen, inter-personal relationships, team play, ethical behaviour & technical leadership. At the end of the course, you will be ready to join the industry as an Engineering professional or to continue post-graduate studies in Engineering, Technology or Management. We have reached to third year level in this stream and many activities are carried out such as one week ISTE Approved on Recent Advances & Modern Practices in Transportation Engineering, site visit at Metro Rail project at Kharghar, expert lectures in the areas of Engineering geology, Mix Concrete design and three days survey project was organized in the hilly areas of Igatpuri, site visit at Kalyan railway car shed, green building exhibition and automatic paver-block manufacturing plant. You will benefit from our integrated style of learning and teaching through a variety of methods including laboratory classes, project work and fieldwork. Working in ‘real’ situations will help broaden your experiences and will expose you to a wide range of problems and influences. Fieldwork ranges from the survey field course in your first year, the construction site field course in the third year to fieldwork associated with many of the projects in the third and fourth years.
