Library - "Light House" Library is a temple of learning. The Library Information Services play a crucial role in teaching and learning activities and will provide the main source in individual reading and study. The Library is well stocked, covering a varied range of topics on all related fields. The central Library houses a collection of over 10,000 + volumes and subscribes to over 100 Journals & Magazines, National & International in support of the curriculum & general technology related areas. It has a Digital Library having E-journal subscribed by DELNET. The Institute provides book bank facility to the students. It has seating capacity of more than 200 students. Library membership is open to all students on roll and faculty members in service. Student member is issued library cards against which he/she can borrow reference books from the library, he/she can also draw Cd's or Diskettes on the library card. The library has a modest collection of reference books, the tittles cover books on sciences, different engineering subjects, humanities, dictionaries, data books, fact books, hand books and encyclopedias. It also maintains a collection of Cd's, Diskettes and audio cassettes. The library has huge collection of Books, Periodicals, Business Magazines, International and National Journals. Book Bank facilities are also available at SITM. Computer Lab - "Networked Support" The computer centre is ably supported with five fully equipped computer labs having state-of-the-art computing resources providing one-to-one access to students. The centre is ably powered with latest software appfications on engineering and management . The computer centre is centrally air-conditioned and is backed up by high caliber UPS to ensure uninterrupted operations. The computer centre has more than on 300 latest core 2 duo computers. The computer centre has dedicated broadband Internet connectivity using RF link services for round the clock operations. Moreover, the computer centre is upgraded from time to time to ensure that the facilities remain at par with the latest. The computer centre are geared to provide a specialist environment for the student accomplish their assigned task Hostel Accommodation Separate hostels for Boys and Girls are provided, Nutritious & hygienic vegetarian food is served end Homely atmosphere is maintained in the hostel. To encourage co-ordination among the students coming from various parts of the country and to create a friendly & cozy environment, students are grouped together for sharing rooms. The rooms are well ventilated and furnished. The facilities include 24 hrs. security, round the clock power backup, Internet, gymnasium and indoor and outdoor games facilities. Dedicated warden is there to look after the well being of the hostlers. Cafeteria - “Part of Call" Always the most popular hunt of students of SITM is the well designed Cafeteria where students can get refreshments. It is equipped with modern cooking appliances and serves hygienic food. The subsidized rates make eating there quite reasonable. Modern Cafeteria with hygienic canteen for snacks, tea/coffee and meals are available for the students, faculties and staffs. Transport Facilities The students are offered the facility of a fleet of luxury buses for transport from their homes and other points of importance. The Institute provides Transportation facility from different parts of East Delhi, South Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad etc. to its students, faculty members and staff members.
