Arranged 3 days “Freshman Induction program” for first year students (Physics cycle Sections A, B, C, D &E) from 24-08-2014 to 26-08-2014.Program covers Goal Setting, Planning, Habit formation, Presentation Skills etc….. 301 students have attended this program. Trainer: FACE, Bangalore. Conducted the ”Tech Test” for final year students of all branches on 04-09-2014 and 05-09-2014. Test was on C and C++. Questions were prepared by NIIT.296 students have appeared for the test.

Infrastructure of JNNCE is being continuously developed. A huge, spacious and elegant New Library and Information Centre building with Digital Library is completed recently. Construction of both first phase and second phase of new Girls’ Hostel building is completed. LIBRARY The singular striking feature of the institution is the new, spacious, vast Library and Information Centre set in a serene environment of 4 floors with all modern facilities and digital library. The Internet facility is available and it creates an atmosphere for a student that is unparalleled. The DELNET feature enables students and faculty to access information from any source. TRANSPORTATION Our fleet of 30 college buses is at the disposal of the students for every transportation need they may have, ranging from daily shuttle service to and from college for the day students. We also provide shuttle service to the hostel students if at all they want to visit the city. HOSTEL Hostel Facilities are provided at JNNCE. The college has three separate hostels for boys with a total capacity of 570 students within the campus and one for girls situated outside the campus with a total occupancy of 175. The hostel provides single accommodation for final year and Post graduate students. Annapurna Mess caters to the boarding needs of the students with spacious infrastructure facilities. Mediclaim group insurance is been provided for all hostel inmates.

The history of JNN College of Engineering is marked by events that have made it synonymous with quality education. Established in 1980 by NES, the College is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi and is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Government of Karnataka, being re-accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and accredited by Institution of Engineers (India). Set in a lush green environment of over fifty acres the college has every infrastructural facility that more than adequately, meets the requirements of around 3800 students and 400 staff members.
