Almost every student comes into a professional B-school with the aim of getting a decent job at the end of their education. At FIIB Delhi, we have moved away from a job outlook to a career perspective. Graduates have been trained and counselled in terms of the importance of looking at a long term career instead of an immediate job. Graduates are trained to be creative, innovative and hard-working which enables them to take challenging responsibilities. Companies send their job postings to the CMC to be advertised within the college campus. Post sending their requirements, most companies choose to conduct a Pre-Placement Talk (PPT) so that they can interact with the MBA graduates. This is followed by scheduling of participating companies for placements by allotting day and time when they can begin their recruitment process. The entire selection procedure of a company has to be carried out within the time frame allotted to them. Companies may invite CVs of interested candidates and shortlist college students on the basis of their profiles before coming on MBA campus. Participating companies in the campus placement are offered all facilities and arrangements for conducting tests, group discussions and interviews.
