EMPI is housed in pollution free residential CSKM educational complex in the midst of farm houses of South Delhi. On one side is the greenery of Delhi Wild lifeSanctuary and on the other is the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Campus. Also in close neighborhood are the famous Qutab Minar and the Chattarpur Temple. The EMPI campus is about 5 kms from two Metro Stations: Qutub Minar and Chattarpur, and about 15 kms from the international airport. The Metro connects all parts of Delhi and the surrounding areas, called the National Capital Region. The newly emerging Suburb of Gurgaon is just 20 minutes away by Metro. Classrooms All possible care has been taken while designing our classrooms so that our students get effective learning from our teachers and facilitate participative learning. Our classrooms are well ventilated spacious, equipped with LCD projectors along with audio system with proper arrangements of Laptop and power supply. Library EMPI’s completely digitalized library operates from morning 09.15 to 11 in night, which is further extended whenever required. Students are provided with a personal copy of business newspaper in their hostel room to encourage reading habits and keeping them abreast with current happenings. Medical Facility An Medical Inspection Room with comprehensive health and wellness services provided by Orange Cross, a leading healthcare services management company is available on campus. Nurses on 24-hour duty with regular visits by a doctor, online medical records along with tools and features of managing health and wellness. Any emergency case is immediately taken to the city hospitals. There is a facility of group insurance for all the campus residents for availing mediclaims. Security Taking security situation, EMPI has taken adequate measures to address this concern. Being away from the crowded part of Delhi, the location of EMPI campus in itself is an advantage. The properly fenced boundary wall with a 24 hour Security Gate easily ensures checking of every individual / good coming in or going out. Streamlining of gate-pass system for visitors is also a very effective measure and is strictly implemented in the campus. Amphitheatre The open air theatre at EMPI called the ‘Amphitheater’ holds some of the major festivals, functions and other events at EMPI. It has a capacity to hold almost 600 people. The Amphitheatre is also Wi-Fi enabled and the students at times when they are free during the evenings even carry out their discussions and do their project work in the open air – A reflection of a true, ‘Modern Gurukul’.
