We have adopted a strategy of targeting placements at the middle level of management rather than at the entry level by providing additional skills and training. Extensive coverage of global trade parameters and best practices of industry ensures that students are well equipped to handle competitive pressures of global business. Placement is an independent activity managed the career development cell & the students on their own through their nominated committee member, under the overall guidance of an experienced Placement Coordinator. Moreover, the activities calendar of DBS has incorporated a number of activities which have been designed to promote industry interaction. Wifi enables campus The Campus along with the Hostel is Wi-fi enabled. Students can research on the Net referring to many journals and publications, etc. They can access the web anytime, anywhere whether it is the Campus premises or the hostel. Medical Tieups Each student at the time of admission is given a CashLess Mediclaim Card (on payment basis), which has a tie-up with Dehradun’s three leading hospitals namely, Max Super Speciality hospital, Shri Guru Ram Rai Hospital and Synergy Hospital. A Student can walk-in cashless into any of these hospitals when in medical emergency. Transport For the convenience of the non-resident students and staff members, the institute arranges sufficient number of buses at nominal rates. These buses pick the students from most of the locations in Dehradun and adjoining areas to institute & back at fixed time as per the schedule of the college. Hostel and Mess We have separate Boarding & Lodging Facilities for boys and girls. The rooms are provided on Double sharing and Triple sharing basis. The facilities provided include laundry, WiFi, Yoga for girls and a Gymnasium for the boys. Auditorium & Conference Room Known as a Business School famous for its various academic and cultural activities, DBS houses a state-of-art Auditorium and Conference room which provides a conducive environment for conducting events like conferences, seminars, workshops, debates, quizzes, meetings, etc. Class Rooms Spacious class rooms, well equipped with LCD projectors, whiteboards, wifi-enabled and PA systems make the classroom learning an engaging and unique experience for all.
