Students get the intimation about placement opportunities from the institute’s Division for Corporate Relations (DCR) through web portal, Emails, SMS and departmental notices postings in their respective departments Interested students can convey their choice either through mail or by signing in the relevant sheet with DCR within the specified time limit. As the recruiter confirms the date of interview process, it is communicated to students who are also advised on the documents required by the recruiter like CV, Summer Internship Project Report etc. The interview process is mostly conducted with in the campus but in select cases students visit the recruiter’s premises for the process. The placement process, which is a rolling one, commences in the month of November each year. Recruited students may join their employers during six month (Eight Semester) internship program (on stipend) after their seven semester university examinations which are concluded in the January. Once the six month internship is over, they have to clear university examination process for project in May and go back to their company for final absorption.
