Library Library at Acharya Institute of Technology is a Resource Centre for academic and research activities in the areas of Science, Technology and Management. A state-of-the-art library, it helps the academic work at the institution providing both print and digital resources for the study and research in Engineering and Management. The Library is housed in a magnificent modelled building, which includes separate sections for reference, reading hall, periodicals, internet, and administrative division. The library has a collection of 70000 books at present and has continued to grow at the rate of exceeding 5,000 volumes annually. In addition to this, the Library subscribes to large number of periodicals covering more than 14 disciplines and about 1000 Bound Volumes of back issues of all important Journals which are organized subject wise. Transport A fully fledged transport fleet is provided for use by the staff and students of Acharya Institutes. The buses pick and drop students and staff from various locations in Bangalore. A safe and timely service is the motto of the transport team at Acharya. The transport team consists of experienced drivers, skilled maintenance staff and a Transport Manager to ensure smooth operations. The campus is also connected by alternative transport facilities like Metropolitan Buses and Trains. The Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) operates both regular and Volvo buses from city center to campus. The railway station is located very close to the campus facilitating people to commute by Train. Hostel All efforts are constantly put in to provide the best facilities for residents living in Acharya Halls of Residence. Every resident has access to a wide range of activities, facilities and support on the campus. Besides the regular Residence’s dining facilities, there are affordable food services within the campus that provide inexpensive and easily accessible lunch or evening snack options. Acharya Institutes, with its beautiful landscape and carefully tended gardens, provide an ideal environment for a congenial learning experience and encourage to participate in various committees in Hall Events such as Cultural, Discipline, Sports, Mess, and Maintenance.
